Nancy Schoenberger co-authored Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century (HarperCollins, 2010), which was excerpted in Vanity Fair and was a New York Times and L.A. Times bestseller.

She is also the author of three books of poetry, including Long Like a River, which won the New York University Poetry Prize, and the 2001 biography, Dangerous Muse: the Life of Lady Caroline Blackwood (Nan A. Talese/Doubleday). Another co-authored book is Hollywood Kryptonite, The Lady, the Bulldog, and the Death of Superman, a source for the 2007 Focus Features movie, Hollywoodland.

She is a professor of English at the College of William and Mary, where she directs the creative writing program.
